2.13 Isai autem genuit. In libro Regum dicitur habere Isai octo filios, in Paralipomenis non amplius quam septem. Sed dicunt Hebræi Nathan prophetam filium Sama vel Sammaa, vel Simmaa filii Isai, quem in locum filii educavit et nutrivit inter filios numeratum. Inter filios quoque Isai Nathan adductus est ad Samuelem, qui et Jonatham, qui percussit leonem. Et sciendum quod ubi propheta vocatur, Nathan scribitur, non Jonathan


2.13 Isai however genuit. In libro Regum it_is_said habere Isai octo filios, in Paralipomenis not/no amplius how septem. But dicunt Hebræi Nathan prophetam son Sama or Sammaa, or Simmaa children Isai, which in place children educavit and nutrivit between filios numeratum. Inter filios too Isai Nathan adductus it_is to Samuelem, who and Yonatham, who he_struck leonem. And sciendum that where a_prophet vocatur, Nathan scribitur, not/no Yonathan
