OET (OET-LV)And_eat_fill at table_of_my horse and_charioteers warrior and_all man_of war the_utterance_of my_master YHWH.

OET (OET-RV)

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy

(Occurrence 0) chariot

(Some words not found in UHB: and,eat_~_fill on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in table_of,my horses and,charioteers mighty and=all (a)_man war declares_of my=master GOD )

The metonym “chariot” refers to the men in the chariots. Alternate translation: “chariot driver”

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / 123person

(Occurrence 0) this is the Lord Yahweh’s declaration

(Some words not found in UHB: and,eat_~_fill on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in table_of,my horses and,charioteers mighty and=all (a)_man war declares_of my=master GOD )

Yahweh speaks of himself by name to express the certainty of what he is declaring. See how you translated this in [Ezekiel 5:11](../05/11.md). Alternate translation: “this is what the Lord Yahweh has declared” or “this is what I, the Lord Yahweh, have declared”

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

39:18-20 In most sacrificial feasts, humans dined on slaughtered animals. This feast would allow animals to dine on slaughtered humans as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls. This reversal of the great messianic banquet (Isa 25:6) features the enemies of God as the menu rather than as the invited guests.
