Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
(Occurrence 0) know that I am Yahweh
(Some words not found in UHB: and=not spare eye_of,my on,you and=not spare that/for/because/then/when ways_of,your on,you punish and,abominations_of,your in/on/at/with,midst_of,you be and,know that/for/because/then/when I YHWH )
When Yahweh says that people will know that he is Yahweh, he is implying that they will know that he is the one true God who has supreme authority and power. See how you translated this in [Ezekiel 6:7](../06/07.md). Alternate translation: “understand that I am Yahweh, the one true God” or “realize that I, Yahweh, have supreme power and authority”
7:1-27 Ezekiel 7 contains three messages of doom (7:3-4, 5-9, 10-27). They reminded Judah that their forthcoming destruction was not a random twist of fate but an act of the Lord’s judgment.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
