OET (OET-LV)THERE still_you will_be_speaking there with the_king and_I I_will_come after_you and_I_will_confirm DOM words/messages_of_your.

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor

הִנֵּ֗ה

(Some words not found in UHB: see/lo/see! still,you she/it_was_speaking there with the=king and,I come_in after,you and,I_will_confirm DOM words_of,your )

See the discussion of the expression “behold” in the introduction to 1 Kings to decide how to represent it in your translation here and throughout the book.

Note 2 topic: writing-pronouns

וַאֲנִי֙ אָב֣וֹא אַחֲרַ֔יִךְ

and,I come_in after,you

Nathan is stating the pronoun I separately, even though the verb translated as I will come already includes this meaning. He is doing that to emphasize that his action will take place at the same time as Bathsheba’s action of speaking with King David. If a speaker of your language would use an explicit pronoun for the same purpose, you may want to use that construction in your translation. If not, your language may have other ways of showing the meaning here. Alternate translation: [and right then, I will come after you]

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

וּמִלֵּאתִ֖י אֶת־דְּבָרָֽיִךְ

(Some words not found in UHB: see/lo/see! still,you she/it_was_speaking there with the=king and,I come_in after,you and,I_will_confirm DOM words_of,your )

Nathan is using I will fill your words as a common expression of his culture to mean “I will confirm what you have said.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [and I will confirm what you have said]
