Solomon is using Abiathar’s fields to represent all of the property on which Abiathar lives, including his home. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. Alternate translation: [to your home]

Here the word For introduces not a reason but an assertion. Alternate translation: [Truly]

Solomon is using the phrase a man of death as a common expression of his culture to mean “someone who deserves to die.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [you deserve to die]

If it would be more natural in your language, you could reverse the order of these phrases, since the second phrase gives the reason for the result that the first phrase describes. Alternate translation: [but because you carried the Box of my Lord Yahweh to the face of David my father and because you were afflicted with everything with which my father was afflicted, I will not kill you on this day]
Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / synecdoche
לֹ֣א אֲמִיתֶ֗ךָ
not I,will_put_you_to_death
See the discussion in the introduction to 1 Kings of how the author and characters often use the name of one person who is involved in something, often the person who is responsible for it or who is directing it, to represent everyone who is involved. In this case, Solomon does not mean that he personally will not kill Abiathar, but that he will not direct someone to kill him. Alternate translation: [I will not have one of my soldiers kill you]
Note 6 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy

Here, the face of David represents David’s presence. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. (Solomon is describing what Abiathar did in [2 Samuel 15:24–29](../2sa/15/24.md).) Alternate translation: [into the presence of David]
Note 7 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive

The expression you were afflicted is a passive verbal form. If your language would not use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: [everything that afflicted my father also afflicted you] or [you shared in all of my father’s afflictions]
OET (OET-LV) and_to_ʼEⱱyātār the_priest/officer he_said the_king ˊAnātōt go to fields_of_your if/because are_a_man_of death you and_on_day the_this not I_will_put_you_to_death if/because you_carried DOM the_box_of my_master YHWH to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Dāvid father_of_my and_because/when you_were_afflicted in_all that he_was_afflicted father_of_my.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
