Alternate translation: [and the runners and the captains threw their bodies out of the temple] or (2) that the runners and captains threw the bodies of the people they killed to one side so that they could continue going through the crowd and killing others. Alternate translation: [and the runners and captains threw to one side the body of each person they killed until they had killed everyone]
