uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / synecdoche

וְיִתְאָ֣ו הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ יָפְיֵ֑ךְ

(Some words not found in UHB: listen daughter and,see and,incline ear_of,your and,forget people_of,your and,the_house_of your_father_of,your )

The psalmist is using one part of the bride, her beauty, to mean all of her in the act of being attractive to the king. The psalmist means that if she gives the king her exclusive devotion, as he advised her in the previous verse, not just her physical appearance but her qualities of loyalty and faithfulness will make the king appreciate and love her. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [This will make you very attractive to the king]

Note 2 topic: translate-symaction

וְהִשְׁתַּֽחֲוִי־לֽוֹ

(Some words not found in UHB: listen daughter and,see and,incline ear_of,your and,forget people_of,your and,the_house_of your_father_of,your )

Bowing low to the ground in front of the king was a symbolic action by which the bride showed her acceptance of his authority over her both as her new husband and as her new king. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could explain the significance of this action in the text or in a footnote. Alternate translation: [prostrate yourself respectfully and submissively to him]
