OET (OET-LV) On the_mouth_of the_law which teach_you and_according_to the_decisions which they_will_say to/for_yourself(m) you_will_do not you_will_turn_aside from the_decision which they_will_tell to/for_yourself(m) right_hand and_left.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / parallelism
עַל־פִּ֨י הַתּוֹרָ֜ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר יוֹר֗וּךָ וְעַל־הַמִּשְׁפָּ֛ט אֲשֶׁר־יֹאמְר֥וּ לְךָ֖
on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in instruction_of the,law which/who teach,you and,according_to the,decisions which/who announce to/for=yourself(m)
These two phrases mean basically the same thing. The second emphasizes the meaning of the first by repeating the same idea with different words. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could connect the phrases with a word other than and in order to show that the second phrase is repeating the first one, not saying something additional. Alternate translation: [According to the mouth of the law that they teach you, indeed, according to the judgment that they say to you]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy
עַל־פִּ֨י הַתּוֹרָ֜ה
on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in instruction_of the,law
Here, mouth represents the words that someone says. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression from your language or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [According to the words of the law]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
לֹ֣א תָס֗וּר מִן־הַדָּבָ֛ר אֲשֶׁר־יַגִּ֥ידֽוּ לְךָ֖ יָמִ֥ין וּשְׂמֹֽאל
not turn_aside from/more_than the,decision which/who declare to/for=yourself(m) right and,left
Here, turn aside means to disobey or stop following. Moses is speaking of the word of the judge as if it were a path that one could walk on and disobedience as turning aside, right or left, from that way. If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have this meaning or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [Do not disobey their verdict]
17:11 do not modify it: This Hebrew term envisions keeping on a straight path (cp. Prov 4:25-27; Heb 12:13). Once a verdict has been rendered, the sentence must be applied according to the law and the rules of evidence. Justice must be carried out on an unswerving path of fairness and righteousness.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
