Here Ezekiel is using the plural porches. See the chapter introduction for more information. He may be referring to: (1) one porch using an unusual form. He only directly refers to one porch for each gate. Alternate translation: [and its porch … and its porch] (2) several porches (probably two), one for entrance and one for the exit of the gate. Alternate translation: [and its two porches … and its two porches]

לִ⁠פְנֵי⁠הֶֽם

[were],before_of,them

The word translated as to their face represents the standard written Hebrew text as we have it today. This reading, however, does not seem to make sense, since the porch was on the inside end of the gate, not near the steps outside. Scholars have proposed that a scribe may have accidentally switched some of the consonants of the text, resulting in this word. With a these consonants switched, it would say “to the inside,” which may better fit the meaning of this passage. You may want to follow the major translation in your area. Alternate translation: [were to the inside]
