Ahijah says that all of Israel will mourn for Jeroboam’s son as a generalization for emphasis. If it would be clearer in your language, you could express the emphasis in a different way. Alternate translation: [And the Israelites will mourn greatly for him]

Here Ahijah is using the pronoun they in a general sense, not to refer to specific people. Use an expression for this that would be natural in your language. Alternate translation: [and he will be buried]
