OET (OET-RV) and Yarave’am told his wife, “Go and get changed so that no one will recognise you as my wife. Then go to Shiloh where the prophet Ahiyah is—he’s the one who prophesied that I’d become king.

and=not know
Here Jeroboam is using the pronoun they in a general sense, not to refer to specific people. Use an expression for this that would be natural in your language. Alternate translation: [so no one will know] or [so it will not be known]

Since Jeroboam is the speaker, it may be more natural in your language to use a pronoun here. Alternate translation: [my wife]

Jeroboam is stating the pronoun He separately, even though the verb translated as he spoke already includes this meaning. He is doing that to emphasize the personal role of Ahijah in having said that Jeroboam would become king. If a speaker of your language would use an explicit pronoun for the same purpose, you may want to use that construction in your translation. If not, your language may have other ways of showing the meaning here. Alternate translation: [He was the one who spoke]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
