Ahijah is speaking here as if Yahweh had actually sent him to Jeroboam’s wife in a harsh way. He means that Yahweh has given him a harsh message to deliver to her. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [Now Yahweh has given me a harsh message to speak to you]
