Ahijah is using this statement to conclude his direct quotation of what Yahweh told him to tell Jeroboam’s wife. In verse 7, he started the quotation by also mentioning that Yahweh had said this. Ahijah begins and ends the message with these statements in order to mark it as something he has spoken by Yahweh’s authority and that will surely happen. In your translation, use a natural way in your language of showing at the end of a quotation that someone has spoken it who has the power and authority to declare it and make it happen.
