OET (OET-LV) And_the_sons of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) they_were_mustered and_they_were_supplied and_they_went to_meet_them and_ the_people_of _they_encamped of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) before_them like_two_of little_flocks_of goats and_ʼArām they_filled DOM the_earth/land.
OET (OET-RV) and the Israeli warriors assembled and received their supplies. Then they went to confront them, but they seemed like ants in comparison to the massive Aramean army.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive
וּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל הָתְפָּקְדוּ֙ וְכָלְכְּל֔וּ
and=the_sons (Some words not found in UHB: and=the_sons Yisrael mustered and,they_were_supplied and,they_went to,meet,them and,they_encamped sons_of Yisrael before,them like,two_of little_flocks_of goats and,Aram filled DOM the=earth/land )
The expressions were mustered and were sustained are passive verbal forms. If your language would not use those forms, you could express the ideas in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: [And Ahab mustered the sons of Israel and sustained them]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / simile
כִּשְׁנֵי֙ חֲשִׂפֵ֣י עִזִּ֔ים
(Some words not found in UHB: and=the_sons Yisrael mustered and,they_were_supplied and,they_went to,meet,them and,they_encamped sons_of Yisrael before,them like,two_of little_flocks_of goats and,Aram filled DOM the=earth/land )
The point of this comparison is that just as two little flocks of goats are small in number, so the Israelite army was small in number compared to the large Aramean army. If it would be helpful in your language, you could make this point explicitly. Alternate translation: [in relatively small numbers, like two little flocks of goats]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / hyperbole
וַאֲרָ֖ם מִלְא֥וּ אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ
and,Aram filled DOM the=earth/land
The author says Aram filled the land as an overstatement for emphasis. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a different way to express the emphasis. Alternate translation: [the Aramean army spread out over much of the land]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
