ULTYou shall certainly restore to him the pledge as the sun goes down, and he will sleep in his cloak and bless you; and it will be righteousness for you before the face of Yahweh your God.

USTWhen the sun sets, take the cloak back to him, in order that he may wear it while he sleeps. If you do that, he will ask God to bless you, and Yahweh our God will be pleased with you.

BSBbe sure to return it to him by sunset, so that he may sleep in his own cloak and bless you, and this will be credited to you as righteousness before the LORD your God.

This is a coat or other clothing that keeps a person warm at night. This was probably the “pledge” Moses was speaking of in Deuteronomy 24:10–12.
