BSB therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, O Tyre, I am against you, and I will raise up many nations against you, as the sea brings up its waves.

OEB Therefore thus saith Jehovah:

NET therefore this is what the sovereign Lord says: Look, I am against you, O Tyre! I will bring up many nations against you, as the sea brings up its waves.

LSV Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I [am] against you, O Tyre,
And have caused many nations to come up against you,
As the sea causes its billows to come up.

FBV this is why the Lord God says: Watch out, Tyre! I'm condemning you, and I will have many nations come and attack you, just like the sea that sends its waves crashing against the shore.

T4T Therefore, this is what I, Yahweh the Lord, say: ‘I am now the enemy of you people of Tyre. I will causethe armies of many nations to come and attack your city, like the waves of the sea beat against the shores.

LEB Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: ‘Look! I am against you, Tyre, and I will bring up against you many nations like the stirring up of the sea stirring up its waves.[fn]

Cvdl Yee therfore saieth ye LORDE God: Beholde O Tyre, I will vpo the, I wil bringe a greate multitude off people agaynst ye, like as whe the see aryseth with his wawes:

Wyc therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Tire, Y on thee; and Y schal make many folkis to stie to thee, as the see flowynge stieth.
   (therfor the Lord God saith/says these things, Lo! Tire, I on thee/you; and I shall make many folks/people to stie to thee/you, as the sea flowynge stieth.)

Luth darum spricht der HErr HErr also: Siehe, ich will an dich, Tyrus, und will viel Heiden über dich heraufbringen, gleichwie sich ein Meer erhebt mit seinen Wellen.
   (darum spricht the/of_the LORD LORD also: See, I will at dich, Tyrus, and will many heathens above you/yourself heraufbringen, gleichwie itself/yourself/themselves a sea erhebt with his Wellen.)

ClVg propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego super te, Tyre, et ascendere faciam ad te gentes multas, sicut ascendit mare fluctuans.
