OET (OET-LV)and not having_found the body of_him, came saying also to_have_seen a_vision of_messengers, who are_saying him to_be_living.

OET (OET-RV) and couldn’t find his body, Then they came back and told us about some vision about messengers from God who apparently said that he’s alive.

uW Translation Notes:

καὶ μὴ εὑροῦσαι τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ, ἦλθαν

and not /having/_found the body ˱of˲_him came

If you began a new sentence at the end of the previous verse, you could continue it here. Alternate translation: “but they did not find his body, so they came to us”

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

24:13-34 This account is Luke’s unique contribution to the resurrection narratives. Jesus corrected these disciples’ misunderstanding by showing from Scripture that it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer. He then opened their eyes to the truth of his resurrection.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Greek words that they’re translated from.
