וְלֹֽא תִשְׂא֤וּ & חֵ֔טְא
and=not bear & sin
Yahweh is using you shall not lift up sin as a common expression of the culture to mean “you shall not incur guilt.” If this phrase does not have that meaning for your readers, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [You shall not incur guilt]
Note 2 topic: grammar-connect-condition-fact
בַּהֲרִֽימְכֶ֥ם אֶת חֶלְבּ֖וֹ מִמֶּ֑נּוּ
when,you,offer_up DOM best_of,its from=him/it
Yahweh is speaking as if the Levites setting apart the best portion were a hypothetical possibility, but he means that it will certainly happen. If your language does not state something as a condition if it is certain or true, or if your readers might think that what Yahweh is saying is uncertain, then you could translate this as a confident statement. Alternate translation: [since you raise its fat from it]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy
אֶת חֶלְבּ֖וֹ
DOM best_of,its
See how you translated the similar expression in [18:30](../18/30.md).

See how you translated the similar expression in [18:5](../18/05.md).
Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns
חֵ֔טְא
sin
If your language does not use abstract nouns for the idea of sin, you could express the same idea in other ways. Alternate translation: [any wrong]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
