OET (OET-LV) And_they_defeated DOM_him/it and_DOM sons_of_his and_DOM all_of people_of_his until not left to_him/it a_survivor and_they_took_possession_of DOM land_of_his.
OET (OET-RV) So they overcame King Og and his sons and all his people until there were no remaining survivors, then they took possession of their land.
Note 1 topic: writing-pronouns
וַיַּכּ֨וּ אֹת֤וֹ וְאֶת בָּנָיו֙ וְאֶת כָּל עַמּ֔וֹ
and,they_defeated DOM=him/it and=DOM sons_of,his and=DOM all/each/any/every people_of,his
The pronoun they refers to the Israelites, while the pronoun him refers to Og. It may be helpful to clarify this for your readers. Alternate translation: [And the Israelites struck Og and his sons and all his people]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / hyperbole
עַד בִּלְתִּ֥י הִשְׁאִֽיר ל֖וֹ שָׂרִ֑יד
until no left to=him/it survivor
The author says not a survivor remained for him as an extreme statement for emphasis. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a different way to express the emphasis. Alternate translation: [until no one was left alive]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / ellipsis
בִּלְתִּ֥י הִשְׁאִֽיר ל֖וֹ שָׂרִ֑יד
(Some words not found in UHB: and,they_defeated DOM=him/it and=DOM sons_of,his and=DOM all/each/any/every people_of,his until no left to=him/it survivor and,they_took_possession_of DOM land_of,his )
The author is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [until not a survivor remained alive for him]
OET (OET-LV) And_they_defeated DOM_him/it and_DOM sons_of_his and_DOM all_of people_of_his until not left to_him/it a_survivor and_they_took_possession_of DOM land_of_his.
OET (OET-RV) So they overcame King Og and his sons and all his people until there were no remaining survivors, then they took possession of their land.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
