OET (OET-RV) and must be given a portion like all the others. (He can keep anything he got from the sale of their family home.)
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

benefit (Some words not found in UHB: benefit like,a_portion eat besides, sales_of,his on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in the, fathers )
Moses is using portions alike portions as a common expression of his culture to mean “equal portions.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [They shall share and share alike] or [They shall all eat equal portions]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
לְבַ֥ד מִמְכָּרָ֖יו עַל־הָאָבֽוֹת
besides, (Some words not found in UHB: benefit like,a_portion eat besides, sales_of,his on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in the, fathers )
Here, the sale of his fathers refers to the money from selling family inheritance. The Levite was allowed to keep this money and use it as he wished. You could include this information if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [besides any family inheritance] or [even if he has received money from his family]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / ellipsis
הָאָבֽוֹת
the,fathers
Moses is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [his father’s possessions] or [inherited possessions]
OET (OET-RV) and must be given a portion like all the others. (He can keep anything he got from the sale of their family home.)
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
