Although the term son is masculine, Moses is using the word in a generic sense that includes both sons and daughters. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could use language in your translation that is clearly inclusive of both men and women. Alternate translation: [to your child]

In a context such as this, your language might say “took” instead of brought. Alternate translation: [And Yahweh took us out]
