7:11 Probably referring to the ten commands written on the stone slabs.
הַחֵ֔רֶם
the,devoted_things
These are the things “marked for destruction” from Joshua 6:18–19. Alternate translation: “the cursed things” or “those things which God has cursed”
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
גָּֽנְבוּ֙ וְגַ֣ם כִּֽחֲשׁ֔וּ
stolen and=also acted_deceitfully
Hiding their sin represents trying to keep others from knowing that they have sinned. Alternate translation: “They have stolen those things, and then they tried to keep people from knowing that they sinned”
7:1-26 Now that Jericho belonged to Israel, Joshua’s first military problem involved securing a foothold in the hill country. The conquest of Jericho inspired Israel’s confidence and consigned the people of Canaan to discouragement and despair. Yet everything hinged on Israel’s obedience to God. One man’s sin and its consequences demonstrate how serious was the command to destroy Jericho (see “Complete Dedication” Theme Note).

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
