OET (OET-RV) Then Yehoshua told Achan, “My son, now honour Yahweh the God of Israel and give thanks to him. And tell me now what you’ve done—don’t hide it from me.”

Achan was not Joshua’s son. Joshua is addressing Achan using a polite form of address that someone of a higher status would use when addressing someone of a lower status in that culture. Use a form for addressing someone politely in your language that would be appropriate in this context.

Joshua is using the expression give glory to Yahweh the God of Israel to encourage Achan to tell the truth and admit what he has done wrong. This will give glory to Yahweh by vindicating his justice that led him to allow the people of Ai to defeat the Israelites. Alternate translation: “vindicate the justice of Yahweh, the God of Israel, by telling the truth”

שִֽׂים־ נָ֣א כָב֗וֹד לַֽיהוָ֛ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְתֶן־ ל֣וֹ תוֹדָ֑ה
give now glory to/for=YHWH god Yisrael and, give to=him/it praise
If your language does not use abstract nouns for the ideas of glory and confession, you can express the same ideas with verbal forms or in some other way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: “now glorify Yahweh, the God of Israel, and confess to him”
7:1-26 Now that Jericho belonged to Israel, Joshua’s first military problem involved securing a foothold in the hill country. The conquest of Jericho inspired Israel’s confidence and consigned the people of Canaan to discouragement and despair. Yet everything hinged on Israel’s obedience to God. One man’s sin and its consequences demonstrate how serious was the command to destroy Jericho (see “Complete Dedication” Theme Note).

OET (OET-RV) Then Yehoshua told Achan, “My son, now honour Yahweh the God of Israel and give thanks to him. And tell me now what you’ve done—don’t hide it from me.”
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
