uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor

וְעַתָּ֛ה נַפְשֵׁ֥נוּ יְבֵשָׁ֖ה

and=now appetite_of,our dried_up

Here the Israelites speak as if their lives were dry. They could mean that: (1) they have lost their strength because they do not have enough to eat. Alternate translation: [And now we have lost our strength] (2) they have lost their appetite for food because they do not like eating only manna. Alternate translation: [And now we have lost our appetite]

Note 2 topic: grammar-collectivenouns

נַפְשֵׁ֥נוּ יְבֵשָׁ֖ה

appetite_of,our dried_up

In this verse, the word life is singular in form, but it refers to all the lives of the Israelites as a group. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use the plural form of “life.” Alternate translation: [our lives are dry]

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / exclusive

נַפְשֵׁ֥נוּ & עֵינֵֽינוּ

appetite_of,our & eyes_of,our

By our, the Israelites mean to include both themselves and their listeners, so use the inclusive form of that word if your language marks that distinction.

Note 4 topic: grammar-connect-exceptions

אֵ֣ין כֹּ֑ל בִּלְתִּ֖י אֶל־הַמָּ֥ן עֵינֵֽינוּ

not all but to/towards the,manna eyes_of,our

If it would appear in your language that the Israelites were making a statement and then contradicting it, you could reword this as a positive statement. Alternate translation: [the only thing in our eyes is the manna]

Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

אֵ֣ין כֹּ֑ל

not all

The implication is that the people meant there was nothing worth eating except manna. You could include this information if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [there is not any food]

Note 6 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

עֵינֵֽינוּ

eyes_of,our

The people are using the common expression of their culture in our eyes to mean “that we can see” or “that is available to us.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [that we can observe]
