uW Translation Notes:
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / rquestion
(Occurrence 0) Who will give us meat to eat?
(Some words not found in UHB: and=near/to the,people say consecrate for,tomorrow and,eat flesh/meat that/for/because/then/when wept in/on/at/with,hearing_of YHWH to=say who? feed,us flesh/meat that/for/because/then/when good to/for=us in/on/at/with,Egypt and=he/it_gave YHWH to/for=you(pl) flesh/meat and,eat )
The Israelites had asked this question in order to complain and to express their desire for something other than manna to eat. If it would be helpful in your language, you could express this question as a statement. Alternate translation: “We wish that we had meat to eat.”

Tyndale Study Notes:
11:1-35 This is one of many occasions in the wilderness when Israel was disobedient to the Lord.
