David is stating the pronoun you separately, even though the verb translated as stand already includes this meaning. See how you translated the similar expression “you, you were” in [5:2](../05/02.md). Alternate translation: [And lead them here personally]

David is not telling Amasa to stand here and not leave. He means that once Amasa has gone and summoned the Judean soldiers, he should stand or present himself to David along with them. The implication is that he is to present himself as their commander. You could indicate this explicitly in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [And you, be present here as their commander] or [And it will be your responsibility to bring them here under your command]
