BrTrAnd the lot of the east gates fell to Selemias, and Zacharias: the sons of Soaz cast lots for Melchias, and the lot came out northward.

ULTAnd the lot fell to the east, to Shelemiah[fn] and Zechariah his son, an advisor with insight. And they cast lots and his lot went to the north.


Shelemiah is the same person referred to as Meshelemiah in 1 Chronicles 26:2.
