TSNTyndale Study Notes:

25:38 The mention of the land of Egypt reminded the Israelites that they had been slaves at one time. They were to help the poor among them because of God’s covenant relationship with them (cp. Exod 20:2 and Deut 5:6, where God’s covenant with them is initiated).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / youplural

אֶתְכֶ֖ם & לָכֶם֙ & לָכֶ֖ם

DOM,you_all & to/for=you_all & to/for=you_all

Throughout this verse, you is plural and refers to all the Israelites. Use the plural form of “you” in your language if your language marks that distinction. Alternate translation: [all of you]
