OET (OET-RV) Listen, that area of land ahead of you, I’ve given to you. Go ahead and take possession that land that Yahweh promised to your ancestors Avraham (Abraham), Yitshak (Isaac), and Yakov (Jacob). He promised to give it to them and to their descendants.”

רְאֵ֛ה

Yahweh is using the term Look to focus the Israelites' attention on what he is about to say. Your language may have a comparable expression that you could use in your translation. Alternate translation: [Don't forget]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy
לִפְנֵיכֶ֖ם
before,face/front,you(pl)
Here, faces represents what is in front of the Israelites. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression from your language or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [that is in front of you to you]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / 123person
נִשְׁבַּ֣ע יְ֠הוָה
swore YHWH
Yahweh is speaking about himself in the third person. If this would not be natural in your language, you could use the first person form. Alternate translation: [I swore]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
לַאֲבֹ֨תֵיכֶ֜ם
to,fathers_of,your(pl)
Yahweh is using the term fathers to mean “ancestors.” If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [to your predecessors]
Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
וּלְזַרְעָ֖ם

See the Introduction to Deuteronomy for a discussion of this use of the term seed.
1:8 occupy it (literally acquire it as an inheritance): The land was already Israel’s because God had promised it to the nation’s ancestors centuries earlier (Gen 15:18-21; 26:3; Exod 23:31). Israel was not seizing new territory from its rightful owners but was taking possession of land occupied by squatters.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
