Moses is speaking of all these curses as if they were living things that could come upon you and pursue you and reach you like hostile pursuers who could chase and capture a person. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [And all these curses will happen to you and affect you continually and completely overwhelm you]

The terms commandments and statutes mean similar things. Moses is using the two terms together for emphasis. If it would be clearer for your readers, you could express the emphasis with a single phrase. See how you translated the similar expression “his statutes and his commandments” in [4:40](../04/40.md). Alternate translation: [his commandments] or [his statutes]
