וְעַתָּה֙
(Some words not found in UHB: and=now YHWH ʼElohīm the,word which/who spoken on/upon servant_of,your and,on house_of,his confirm until forever and,do just=as promised )
And now was an expression that speakers in this culture commonly used to introduce their main topic. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation. You could also use plain language. See how you translated the similar expression in [2:6](../02/06.md).

הַדָּבָ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבַּ֤רְתָּ
(Some words not found in UHB: and=now YHWH ʼElohīm the,word which/who spoken on/upon servant_of,your and,on house_of,his confirm until forever and,do just=as promised )
David is using the term word to represent what God said by using words. If it would be clearer in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [the things that you have said]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
בֵּית֔וֹ
(Some words not found in UHB: and=now YHWH ʼElohīm the,word which/who spoken on/upon servant_of,your and,on house_of,his confirm until forever and,do just=as promised )
See how you translated the similar expression in [3:1](../03/01.md). Alternate translation: [my royal dynasty]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / parallelism
הָקֵ֖ם עַד־עוֹלָ֑ם וַעֲשֵׂ֖ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּֽרְתָּ
confirm until forever (Some words not found in UHB: and=now YHWH ʼElohīm the, word which/who spoken on/upon servant_of,your and,on house_of,his confirm until forever and,do just=as promised )
The phrases raise up to forever and do just as you have spoken mean basically the same thing. The second emphasizes the meaning of the first by repeating the same idea with different words. Hebrew poetry was based on this kind of repetition, and it would be good to show this to your readers by including both phrases in your translation rather than combining them. It may be clearer in your language to connect the phrases with a word other than and in order to show that the second phrase is repeating the first one, not saying something additional. Alternate translation: [raise up to forever, indeed, fulfill what you have promised]
Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
הָקֵ֖ם
confirm
David is speaking as if Yahweh’s word were an object that Yahweh could physically raise up or lift into a high position. He means that he wants Yahweh to fulfill the promise that he has made. If it would be clearer in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. If you have already translated the book of 1 Samuel, see how you translated the similar expressions in [1 Samuel 1:23](../../1sa/01/23.md), [1 Samuel 3:12](../../1sa/03/12.md), and [1 Samuel 15:11](../../1sa/15/11.md). Alternate translation: [perform] or [fulfill]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
