Here, the Jews use the word blasphemy with its technical sense, which refers to a human being claiming to be God. This is what the Jewish leaders felt Jesus was doing in 10:30. This phrase means to claim to be God. It does not mean to try to make oneself into God or become God. Alternate translation: “saying that you are God”
