OET (OET-RV) Then over all of Mt. Zion and her assemblies there, Yahweh will place a canopy over all the splendour—creating cloud during the day, and smoke and the brightness of a flaming fire during the night.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns
כָּב֖וֹד
glory
If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of glory, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [that glorious site]
Note 2 topic: grammar-connect-logic-goal
וּבָרָ֣א יְהוָ֡ה עַל֩ כָּל־מְכ֨וֹן הַר־צִיּ֜וֹן וְעַל־מִקְרָאֶ֗הָ עָנָ֤ן יוֹמָם֙ וְעָשָׁ֔ן וְנֹ֛גַהּ אֵ֥שׁ לֶהָבָ֖ה לָ֑יְלָה כִּ֥י & כָּל־כָּב֖וֹד חֻפָּֽה

Here, for marks over all of the glory will be a canopy as the purpose of Yahweh creating the cloud, smoke, and fire over Mount Zion. Use a connector in your language that makes it clear that this is the purpose. Alternate translation: [And Yahweh will create over all of the site of Mount Zion and over its assemblies a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a fire, a flame, by night, in order that there will be a canopy over all of the glory]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
עַל־כָּל־כָּב֖וֹד חֻפָּֽה
on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in all/each/any/every glory canopy
Isaiah is speaking as if God’s protection over his people were a canopy. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [over all of the glory there will be a protective covering]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / merism
יוֹמָם֙ & לָ֑יְלָה כִּ֥י עַל־כָּל־כָּב֖וֹד חֻפָּֽה
by_day & night that/for/because/then/when on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in all/each/any/every glory canopy
Isaiah is referring to all time by naming two major components, day and night. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. Alternate translation: [for over all of the glory will be a canopy at all times]
OET (OET-LV) And_he_will_create YHWH over all_of the_place_of the_mountain_of Tsiyyōn and_over convocations_of_its a_cloud by_day and_smoke and_brightness_of fire flame night if/because will_be_over all_of the_glory a_canopy.
OET (OET-RV) Then over all of Mt. Zion and her assemblies there, Yahweh will place a canopy over all the splendour—creating cloud during the day, and smoke and the brightness of a flaming fire during the night.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
