uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / reduplication

נַחֲמ֥וּ נַחֲמ֖וּ

comfort comfort

God is repeating forms of the verb Comfort in order to intensify his expression of the idea that it conveys. If your language can repeat words for intensification, it would be appropriate to do that here in your translation. If not, your language may have another way of expressing the intensification. Alternate translation: [Surely comfort my people]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / yousingular

יֹאמַ֖ר אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם

says God_of,your(pl)

The word your is plural here because Yahweh is speaking to the messengers whom he is sending to comfort his people. If your language distinguishes between singular and plural forms of you, use the plural form here.
