יִפְקֹ֣ד & בְּ⁠חַרְב֨⁠וֹ הַ⁠קָּשָׁ֜ה וְ⁠הַ⁠גְּדוֹלָ֣ה וְ⁠הַֽ⁠חֲזָקָ֗ה

punish & with,sword_of,his (the),fierce and,(the),great and,(the),mighty

Isaiah is using will visit with his harsh and great and strong sword as a common expression of the culture to mean “will punish with his severe and mighty judgment.” If this phrase does not have that meaning for your readers, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [will punish with his severe and mighty judgment]

Here Isaiah is speaking as if Yahweh’s judgment were a harsh and great and strong sword. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [with his harsh and powerful punishment]

עַ֤ל לִוְיָתָן֙ נָחָ֣שׁ בָּרִ֔חַ וְ⁠עַל֙ לִוְיָתָ֔ן נָחָ֖שׁ עֲקַלָּת֑וֹן

on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in leviathan serpent fleeing and,on leviathan serpent twisting

Here Isaiah is speaking as if the hostile nations that oppose God’s people were Leviathan the fleeing serpent and Leviathan the twisting serpent. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [upon the hostile nations that swiftly flee and upon the hostile nations that craftily oppose his people]

בַּ⁠יּ֣וֹם הַ⁠ה֡וּא

in_the=day (the)=that

Isaiah is using the phrase translated as On that day to introduce a new event in the story. Use a word, phrase, or other method in your language that is natural for introducing a new event. See the UST.

Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / doublet

הַ⁠קָּשָׁ֜ה וְ⁠הַ⁠גְּדוֹלָ֣ה וְ⁠הַֽ⁠חֲזָקָ֗ה

(the),fierce and,(the),great and,(the),mighty

The terms great and strong mean similar things. Isaiah is using the terms together for emphasis. If it would be clearer for your readers, you could express the emphasis with a single phrase. Alternate translation: [overwhelmingly powerful]
