Saul is using it is very narrow to me as a common expression of his culture to mean “I am in a very dangerous situation.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. See how you translated the similar expression in [13:6](../13/06.md). Alternate translation: [I am in a tight situation] or [I am in very dangerous circumstances]

Saul is speaking as if God had physically turned aside and moved away from him. If it would be clearer in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [And God has abandoned me] or [And God is no longer helping me]
