ClVg Stravit quoque pavimentum templi pretiosissimo marmore, decore multo.[fn]
(Stravit too pavimentum templi pretiosissimo marmore, decore multo. )
3.6 Stravit quoque pavimentum, etc.
3.6 Stravit too pavimentum, etc. Sicut latitudo parietis in altum exsurgens, and to laquearia perveniens, provectus virtutum to_whom sancti to cœlum perveniunt, or sanctorum choros sibi through varia tempora succedentes significant: ita æqualitas pavimenti concordem their humilitatem, which in hac vita positi sociali charitate conversantur. Pavimentum pretioso marmore stratum multo decore, and marmor roof tabulis abiegnis, because vita justorum primo of_faith firmitate munienda it_is in corde: after virtutum latitudine ornanda in opere. What because prodest decor marmoris tabulis obtectis, nisi aliquid mysticum ostendat? but bonorum amplitudinem operum fortitudine of_faith fulciendam esse significat. Abies vero alta and durabilis mentem electorum infima spernentem, cœlestibus inhærentem, and virtutem patientiæ excellentem demonstrat. Auri laminæ marmori about tabulis abiegnis superpositæ latitudo it_is charitatis about corde puro and conscientia good and fide not/no ficta, which like aurum aliis metallis, ita cæteris virtutibus in temple of_God præfulget.
3:6 The gold from the land of Parvaim was the highest quality. The actual location of this place was unknown by the time of the earliest translators and might not have been known to the Chronicler either.
