The word because introduces the reason for what came before. If it would be clearer in your language, you could reverse the order and put the reason first. Alternate translation: [Yahweh your God loved you, so he was not willing to listen to Balaam and turned the curse into a blessing for you]

Moses uses the word But here to indicate a contrast between the Ammonites’ and Moabites’ intention to curse Israel and Yahweh’s refusal to allow it. By was not willing to listen to Balaam, Moses means “would not do what Balaam said.” See the discussion of “listen” in the Introduction to Deuteronomy for further information about this. Alternate translation: [But Yahweh your God would not do what Balaam asked] or [But Yahweh your God refused to do what Balaam wanted]
