uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive

בְּלוּלֹ֣ת בַּשֶּׁ֔מֶן & מְשֻׁחִ֣ים בַּשָּׁ֑מֶן

mixed in/on/at/with,oil & spread in/on/at/with,oil

If your language does not use the passive form in this way, you can state this in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. You may need to shorten the sentences and make the alternate translation content separate sentences or mark it off with special punctuation. Alternate translation: “(mix them with oil) … (rub them with oil)”

וּרְקִיקֵ֥י מַצּ֖וֹת מְשֻׁחִ֣ים בַּשָּׁ֑מֶן

and,wafers unleavened spread in/on/at/with,oil

These may have been rubbed with oil before or after baking.

Note 2 topic: translate-unknown

וְחַלֹּ֤ת & וּרְקִיקֵ֥י

and,cakes & and,wafers

These are different kinds of food made from flour. While all the breads were somewhat flat because they were unleavened, the cakes were a bread enriched with oil, and the wafers were especially thin.

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

29:1-37 Moses was required to consecrate (or sanctify) Aaron and his sons to serve the Lord. This emphasis on making the priests holy is found throughout the ceremonies (29:6, 21, 28, 29, 34, 36, 37). They were set apart not merely for service, but to serve a God whose nature is utterly different from that of fallen, sinful humans. The report of how these instructions were carried out is found in Lev 8.
