OET (OET-RV) They’ll be left there for the birds of prey from the hills,
⇔
and the wild animals across the land.
⇔
The birds of prey will spend the summer on them,
⇔
and then the animals across the land will spend the winter on them.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
יֵעָזְב֤וּ יַחְדָּו֙ לְעֵ֣יט הָרִ֔ים וּֽלְבֶהֱמַ֖ת הָאָ֑רֶץ
left all to,bird[s]_of_prey_of mountains and,to,the_animal[s]_of the=earth/land
Isaiah is speaking as if the slain enemies were cut vegetation left together for the bird of the mountains and for the beast of the earth. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [They will be left as food for the birds of the mountains and for the beasts of the earth]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive
יֵעָזְב֤וּ יַחְדָּו֙
left all
The expression will be left is a passive verbal form. If it would be unnatural to use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: [He will leave them together]
Note 3 topic: writing-pronouns
יֵעָזְב֤וּ יַחְדָּו֙
left all
The pronoun They refers to the shoots and branches that Yahweh cut off in the previous verse, but those images represent the enemy army. It may be helpful to clarify this for your readers. Alternate translation: [The dead bodies of the enemy will be left together]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / merism
וְקָ֤ץ עָלָיו֙ הָעַ֔יִט וְכָל־בֶּהֱמַ֥ת הָאָ֖רֶץ עָלָ֥יו תֶּחֱרָֽף
and,it_will_pass_the_summer on/upon/above=him/it the_bird[s],prey and=all animals_of the=earth/land on/upon/above=him/it winter
Isaiah is referring to the entire year by naming two major components, summer and winter. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. Alternate translation: [And the bird will feed on them, and every beast of the earth will feed on them, throughout the entire year]
Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / hyperbole
וְכָל־בֶּהֱמַ֥ת הָאָ֖רֶץ
and=all animals_of the=earth/land
Isaiah says every beast of the earth as a generalization for emphasis. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a different way to express the emphasis. Alternate translation: [many of the beasts of the earth]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
