וַיֹּ֨אמֶר֙ לְיֶ֣תֶר בְּכוֹר֔וֹ ק֖וּם הֲרֹ֣ג אוֹתָ֑ם

Gideon having his son Jether, who was still a young man, kill Zeba and Zalmunna was in some way a symbolic action, but interpreters are not entirely sure what it would have meant. See the General Notes to this chapter for a discussion of the possibilities and for suggestions of how to translate what Gideon told Jether.
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
ק֖וּם
rise
Gideon is using the expression Arise to tell Jether to take action. He is not telling him to get up from a seated position. Alternate translation: [Go ahead]
8:18-21 It is not clear just when the slaughter at Tabor took place; it may have occurred during the earlier battle.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
