The author is repeating details from his introduction of Ahaziah as a participant in the story in [8:25](../08/25.md). (He says the eleventh year of Joram here, rather than “the twelfth year of Joram” as he does there, simply because at this time people sometimes included partial years in totals and sometimes they did not.) He is using this repetition to signal the end of his account of Ahaziah’s life and reign. Use a natural form in your language for concluding an account with a repetition of some of its details.
