Jezebel is using the question form to challenge Jehu’s apparent expectation that he will rule Israel for the rest of his life after he has killed Ahab’s family. She calls him Zimri to remind him that an earlier military commander had murdered the king but only reigned for seven days after that (see [1 Kings 16:8–20](../1ki/16/08.md)). If a speaker of your language would not use the question form for this purpose, you could translate this as a statement or as an exclamation. Alternate translation: [Do not expect that you will reign peacefully after this for any longer than Zimri did, who also murdered the king and took his place!]
