OET (OET-RV) “Bring the sacred chest here,” Sha’ul told Ahiyah the priest, because the Israelis had control of it again at that time.

אֲר֣וֹן הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים כִּֽי־הָיָ֞ה אֲר֧וֹן הָאֱלֹהִ֛ים בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא וּבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל
ark_of the=ʼElohīm that/for/because/then/when it_became ark_of the=ʼElohīm in_the=day (the)=that and=the_sons Yisrael
The ULT follows the reading of the traditional Hebrew text. One ancient version reads instead “the ephod” and “For he wore the ephod in those days before the sons of Israel.” This suits the context, since the author mentions in [14:3](../14/03.md) that Ahijah was present and wearing an ephod, while the narrative indicates in [7:2](../07/02.md) that the Box stayed in Kiriath Jearim for many years. If a translation of the Bible exists in your region, you may wish to use the reading that it uses. If a translation of the Bible does not exist in your region, you may wish to use the reading of the ULT.
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
הַגִּ֖ישָׁה אֲר֣וֹן הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים
bring, ark_of the=ʼElohīm
The author assumes that readers will understand that Saul wanted Ahijah to bring the Box so that he could use it to consult Yahweh about what to do in this situation. You could indicate this explicitly in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [Bring near the Box of God so that I can use it to consult Yahweh about what to do about this situation]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy
בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא
in_the=day (the)=that
The author is using the term day by association to mean a specific time. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. Alternate translation: [at that time]
14:18 Bring . . . Israelites: See NLT textual note; the Greek text is likely original. The Ark remained at Kiriath-jearim for twenty years (7:2), and it was never used for getting information about the future, as the ephod was (see study note on 2:18).

OET (OET-RV) “Bring the sacred chest here,” Sha’ul told Ahiyah the priest, because the Israelis had control of it again at that time.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
