OET (OET-LV) And_ Shāʼūl _he/it_said to Yōnātān tell to/for_me what have_you_done and_he_told to_him/it Yōnātān and_he/it_said indeed_(taste) I_tasted with_the_end_of the_staff which was_in_hand_of_my a_little_of honey here_I I_will_die.
OET (OET-RV) Sha’ul demanded from Yonatan, “Tell me what you’ve done.”
¶
“Actually,” Yonatan answered, “I did taste some honey from the end of my staff, so take me—I’m ready to die.”

(Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said Shāʼūl/(Saul) to/towards Yōnātān/(Yəhōnātān/(Jonathan)) tell, to/for=me what? done and,he_told to=him/it Yōnātān/(Yəhōnātān/(Jonathan)) and=he/it_said to_taste I_tasted with,the_end_of of,the_staff which/who [was]_in,hand_of,my a_little_of honey here,I die )
The term and said introduces a direct quotation. In your translation, use a natural way of introducing direct quotations in your language. It may not be necessary to represent this term explicitly.
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / reduplication
טָעֹ֨ם טָעַ֜מְתִּי
to_taste (Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said Shāʼūl/(Saul) to/towards Yōnātān/(Yəhōnātān/(Jonathan)) tell, to/for=me what? done and,he_told to=him/it Yōnātān/(Yəhōnātān/(Jonathan)) and=he/it_said to_taste I_tasted with,the_end_of of,the_staff which/who [was]_in,hand_of,my a_little_of honey here,I die )
Jonathan is repeating forms of the verb “taste” to emphasize that he only ate a little honey. If your language can repeat words for intensification, it would be appropriate to do that here in your translation. If not, your language may have another way of expressing the intensification. Alternate translation: [I only tasted]
Note 3 topic: writing-politeness
הִנְנִ֥י
here,I
See how you translated this expression in [12:3](../12/03.md). Alternate translation: [I surrender myself]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
