(Occurrence 0) the inner gate

(Some words not found in UHB: and,on,outside, of_the,gate the,inner chambers singers in/on/at/with,court the,inner which/who to/towards side gate the,north and,faces,their road/way_of the,south one(ms) to/towards side gate the,east face/surface_of road/way_of the,north )

This is the inner gate on the north.

(Occurrence 0) singers’ chambers

(Some words not found in UHB: and,on,outside, of_the,gate the,inner chambers singers in/on/at/with,court the,inner which/who to/towards side gate the,north and,faces,their road/way_of the,south one(ms) to/towards side gate the,east face/surface_of road/way_of the,north )

“rooms for singers.” However, some ancient and modern versions read only “chambers” without the reference to singers.

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / ellipsis

(Occurrence 0) one on the north side facing south, and the other on the south side facing north

The word “chamber” or “room” is understood from the previous phrase. The phrase “facing south” means that its door is on its south side, and “facing north” means that its door is on its north side. Alternate translation: “one room on the north side facing south, and the other room on the south side facing north”
