OET (OET-LV)And_he/it_was after he_ate bread and_after he_drank and_he_saddled to_him/it the_donkey for_prophet whom he_had_brought_him_back.

OET (OET-RV)After the meal was finished, the old prophet saddled the donkey for the prophet that he’d brought back,

uW Translation Notes:

the prophet saddled the donkey

(Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_was after he,ate food/grain/bread and=after he,drank and,he_saddled to=him/it the,donkey for,prophet which/who he,had_brought_him_back )

This means he placed a seat on the back of the donkey so the man of God could ride on it. See how you translated this in [1 Kings 13:13](../13/13.md).

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

13:23-26 The donkey did not run away and the lion did not eat the man’s body, a supernatural event. The old prophet immediately understood that God had clearly fulfilled his word (13:21-22) by judging disobedience.
