OET (OET-LV) And_you_all the_day you_all_have_rejected DOM god_of_your_all’s who he is_a_deliverer to/for_you_all from_all calamities_of_your_all’s and_distresses_of_your_all’s and_said to_him/it if/because a_king you_will_appoint over_us and_now present_yourselves to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH by_tribes_of_your_all’s and_by_clans_of_your_all’s.
OET (OET-RV) But since then, you all have rejected your God—the one who saves you from all your calamities and distresses. And you’ve all said to him, ‘We’d rather have a king over us.’ So station yourselves now in front of Yahweh by your tribes and clans.”
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / doublet
מִכָּל־רָעוֹתֵיכֶ֣ם וְצָרֹֽתֵיכֶם֒
from=all calamities_of,your_all's and,distresses_of,your_all's
The terms calamities and distresses mean similar things. The author is using them together for emphasis. If it would be clearer for your readers, you could express the emphasis with a single phrase. Alternate translation: [every kind of trouble that you encounter]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / quotations
וַתֹּ֣אמְרוּ ל֔וֹ כִּי־מֶ֖לֶךְ תָּשִׂ֣ים עָלֵ֑ינוּ
and,said to=him/it that/for/because/then/when king set over,us
It may be more natural in your language to express this as an indirect quotation. Alternate translation: [And you have told him that he should set a king over you]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy
לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה
to=(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH
See how you translated the similar expression in [1:12](../01/12.md). Alternate translation: [in the presence of Yahweh]
Note 4 topic: translate-numbers
וּלְאַלְפֵיכֶֽם
and,by,clans_of,your_all's
The author is probably using the term thousands as a customary way of referring to clans. Alternate translation: [and according to your clans]
10:19 rejected your God: See also 8:7. Israel was rejecting God’s ability to protect and save them.
• Clans are subdivisions of tribes.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
