OET (OET-RV) David sent a messenger to find out who she was, and was told, “That’s Eliam’s daughter Batsheva—Uriyah the Hittite’s wife.”
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / hendiadys
וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח דָּוִ֔ד וַיִּדְרֹ֖שׁ
(Some words not found in UHB: and,he_sent Dāvid and,he_enquired to/for_the=woman/wife and=he/it_said am=not this(f) daughter_of seven daughter_of ʼElīˊām wife_of ʼŪriyyāh the,Hittite )
The phrase sent and inquired expresses a single idea. The word inquired tells for what purpose David sent someone. If it would be more natural in your language, you could express this meaning in a different way. Alternate translation: [And David sent to inquire]
Note 2 topic: writing-pronouns
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר
(Some words not found in UHB: and,he_sent Dāvid and,he_enquired to/for_the=woman/wife and=he/it_said am=not this(f) daughter_of seven daughter_of ʼElīˊām wife_of ʼŪriyyāh the,Hittite )
Here the author is using one in a general sense, not to refer to a specific person. Use an expression for this that would be natural in your language. Alternate translation: [And he was told]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / rquestion

The messenger is using the question form to give information to David. If a speaker of your language would not use the question form for that purpose, you could translate this as a statement or as an exclamation. Alternate translation: [The woman is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite.]
OET (OET-LV) And_ Dāvid _he_sent and_he_enquired to/for_the_woman/wife and_he/it_said am_not is_this Bath- sheⱱaˊ the_daughter_of ʼElīˊām the_wife_of ʼŪriyyāh the_Ḩittiy.
OET (OET-RV) David sent a messenger to find out who she was, and was told, “That’s Eliam’s daughter Batsheva—Uriyah the Hittite’s wife.”
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
