18:6 Note that the priest is not declaring success or otherwise. The quick response by the priest also leads to the suspicion that he did not really spend much time asking the Lord for an answer,

TSNTyndale Study Notes:

18:1-31 The migration of the Danites (cp. Josh 19:40-48) is the story of that tribe’s failure to obey God’s covenant, and it is indicative of Israel’s decline. What began as Micah’s private heresy (Judg 17:4-5) would become the apostasy of an entire tribe (18:30-31). What began as covenant failure (1:19-36) turned into social breakdown in the days of Jephthah and Samson (chs 11–16). In the end, law and order were replaced by banditry and pillaging (18:27-28).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns

לְשָׁל֑וֹם

in,peace

If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of peace, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [confidently]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy

נֹ֣כַח יְהוָ֔ה דַּרְכְּכֶ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר תֵּֽלְכוּ בָֽהּ

has_~_approval YHWH journey,you_all which/who going in/on/at/with,her

The Levite is using the term before by association to mean that Yahweh would watch over them, since they would be in front of him where he could see them. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. Alternate translation: [Yahweh will watch over you on your way]
